This tea is our premium version of Honey Orchid oolong. It has a completely different quality from our previous version. And, because this tea comes from an old bush, it's much more smooth and more relaxing to drink. You won't find this tea getting astringent or bitter easily either.
One of China's national tea, this Honey Orchid Dancong Oolong is one tea that will take your taste buds on an adventure. With a sweet potato aroma and fragrance like no other before it; this oolong leaves you with long-lasting honey notes while still having some orchid flowers fragrance to offer as well!
The aftertaste is refreshing with sweet and mellow honey notes to it. The Chinese name of this tea is Mi Lan Xiang, which translates to honey and orchid fragrance. When you brew Milan Xiang tea, you can smell the fragrance from a few steps away. The refreshing aftertaste is endless after taking a sip of this tea.
Where does it come from?Honey Orchid Dancong Oolong tea comes from Guangdong Province in southern China. The leaves are usually harvested in late spring or early summer.

Gongfu brewing instruction:
For a 100ml gaiwan/teapot, use 2.5 grams of tea leaves. Start by rinsing the leaves with hot water for a few seconds. Then steep in195ºF water for 20 seconds on your first infusion after the rinse; For your second infusion, you can steep for just 10 seconds; add 5 additional seconds for any extra infusions beyond that. With this method, you should be able to get at least 8 to 10 infusions total.
