The Harland Rolltop is a waxed canvas backpack perfect for anything you can think. This waxed canvas backpack is a great size for all the daily carry needs. It is well suited to carry all daily needs including but not limited to laptop, books, your lunch, a water bottle, and just about anything else.
From daily duty, all the way to the ocassional day hiker, we have pockets, space, and comfort to accomedate. The straps are constructed by sewing together a piece of our chestnut harness leather to a piece of our soft oil tanned leather, rough side out. The number nine copper rivets are hiden between the two layers so they never interfere with the wear. The ergonomics make this backpack sit not too high, but not too low. Its the perfect fit, and has 7 adjustable position options on the strap.
The Harland Rolltop waxed canvas backpack went through a meticulous and long prototyping process, and the 3rd prototype finally made the cut. We hope you enjoy our version of the rolltop.
To test out this waxed canvas backpack, we took it on a couple adventures, including to one of our beloved national parks. Its rolltop design keeps everything secure and protected from the outside elements, and the leather straps sit atop the shoulders with comfort and durability.
To go along with the rigorous duties of hiking a National Park we also use this as a daily carry, to which it rises to the occassion with pride.
